| 内容記述 | 目的: 健康増進におけるヘルスリテラシーの重要性が指摘されているが,わが国の地域住民を対象とした研究は少ない.本研究では,中山間地域における,ヘルスリテラシーとメディア利用(機器利用・利用行動)および健康維持増進行動との関連を男女別に検討した.方法: 長野県小海町にて2019年に40歳以上の全住民を対象に自記式質問紙調査を実施した.有効回答を得た1,430人(男性669人,女性761人)を分析対象者とし,多変量ロジスティック解析により検討を行った.結果: 男女ともにヘルスリテラシーが高い者は,利用機器ではパソコン,利用行動ではインターネット,SNS,健康関連アプリの利用が多く,より多くの健康維持増進行動に取り組んでいた.結論: 地域住民において,メディア機器利用およびメディア利用行動はヘルスリテラシーの程度によって異なること,ヘルスリテラシーの向上が健康維持増進行動に繋がりうることが示唆された.Background: Health literacy (HL) has been highlighted as an important factor in health promotion, but few studies have focused on HL in community residents in Japan. Methods: A self-administered questionnaire survey of 3,038 residents (aged 40 years or older) of Koumi town, Nagano Prefecture, was conducted in 2019, and 1,430 valid responses (669 male and 761 female respondents) were analyzed using multivariate logistic analysis. HL was measured using the Communicative and Critical Health Literacy scale and dichotomized into “high" (greater than 17 out of 25) and “low" (less than 17) based on the median score of the valid responses. Results: Of these responses, those with high HL were 326 (48.7%) for men and 420 (55.2%) for women. Multivariate logistic analysis adjusted for age, health status, and socioeconomic status showed that those with high HL, both men and women, used personal computers more (adjusted odds ratio; 95% confidence interval were 1.82; 1.24-2.66 and 2.04; 1.35-3.08 for men and women, respectively) in terms of media devices and used internet (2.32; 1.55-3.46 and 2.18; 1.48-3.21) and social networking services (SNS) (1.77; 1.20-2.59 and 1.71; 1.18-2.47) in terms of usage behavior. In addition, those with high HL, both men and women, were committed to healthier behaviors (four or more of the nine behaviors, including eating, sleeping, drinking, and smoking: 1.69; 1.48-3.21 and 1.60; 1.17-2.20). Conclusion: The results suggest that the use of media devices contributes to the HL of community residents and that the improvement of HL leads to healthier behaviors. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
